Explore the humble yet enchanting grandeur of Chizhou in China with us. Let us discover hidden gems, ancient architecture, and gorgeous nature in this thrilling 3-day escapade. Brace yourselves to be infused with the unique fusion of biodiversity, culture, and authenticity that Chizhou has to offer.

Day 1 - Welcoming Chizhou

We start the journey with a tranquil stroll through Mount Jiuhua, one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism. How about taking a leisure cable car ride to enjoy an aerial view of the mountain's breathtaking scenery? Later, you will be witnessing the Tiantai Zhengfa Temple, a zenith of serenity amidst the scenic beauty. Our last stop for the day is at the Incense Burner Peak. While the name sounds curious, wait until you watch the sunset from the peak, where the incense burner becomes a silhouette against the golden sky, it's outright hypnotic! Stay tuned for dinner to enjoy traditional Chinese cuisine with unique flavours indigenous to Chizhou.

Day 2 - Cultural Exploration

Off to a beautiful start at Qingyang Ancient Village. The traditional stilted houses, quaint stone pavements, and enigmatic folklore surrounding the village will teleport you to a different era. It feels like those old Chinese paintings sprang to life, doesn't it? Post lunch, we move to Chizhou Museum to discover the rich cultural and historical heritage of the city. The artifacts and exhibitions preserve significant slices of the timeline of this region. To end the day on a high note, how about a taste of local theatre? A performance at the Chizhou Opera House showcasing local stories through their vibrant opera will cap off the day quite emphatically.

Day 3 - Embracing Nature

Day three is all about embracing the serenading nature. Our first stop is at the Guniujiang Nature Reserve. Known as the 'Natural Oxygen Bar', the reserve is a haven for rare plant species and wildlife! Nature enthusiasts, you're in for a treat! Following lunch, we head to Chizhou Velvet Bamboo Sea, where you can functionally disengage from the mechanical world with just one look. The panoramic view of endless bamboo groves will leave you in awe. Finally, we will unwind at the Phoenix Lake. A mesmerizing view of the setting sun over the tranquil water is a poetic end to our Chizhou adventure. Cap it off with a traditional Chinese dinner, and you have three days packed with memories to last a lifetime!
