Day 1 - Introduction to Guantánamo!
A beautiful morning coffee at the bustling Plaza Mariana Grajales will kick-start our journey. As you take your time soaking in the urban vibes under the tropical sun, you’ll realize how effortlessly the city wears its rich history and unique culture. Our first stop is the thought-provoking Museo Provincial. Packed with intriguing artifacts from the Cuban revolution, it’s enough to fill you with a sense of awe and wonder! A short walk from here takes us to the ‘Tumba Francesa’, a UNESCO recognised dance and music style introduced to Cuba by the Haitian slaves. In the evening, a breathtaking sunset at the Guantánamo Bay is our reward. How about ending the day with an authentic Cuban cuisine? We got you covered!
Day 2 - Discover the Heart of Guantánamo!
Ready for an adrenaline kickstart? We head towards the Zoologico de Piedra, a surrealistic rock zoo tucked in the heart of Sierra Maestra mountains! Here, dozens of animals are immortalized in stone by the self-taught local artist, Ángel Iñigo Blanco. Isn't it amazing? Post lunch, we venture to Baracoa, also known as the city of rivers! After all, who could say no to some cacao therapy at the Chocolate Museum? As the day unfolds, let's wander through the Baracoa's coastal promenade, savoring the whispers of the sea and slow rhythm of the life!
Day 3 - Exaltation of Guantánamo!
Our final day takes us through the neighbouring natural landscapes of Yunque de Baracoa, a unique flat-topped mountain surrounded by fringing rainforests! Here's the catch though, we're not only climbing; we're hiking, dipping into rivers and relishing the tropical flora and fauna. After this active morning, it’s time for some relaxing beach vibes at Playa Maguana. As the sunset paints the sky, we head back to Guantánamo, taking a piece of Cuba's soulful rhythm with us. Our journey comes to an end, but the memories will stay vibrant!
