Introduction

Experience the unabridged soul of Kenya with our all-inclusive, three-day itinerary around Habaswein. Located in northeastern Kenya, Habaswein is a small yet bustling town that nestles amidst the wilds of Africa. We've carefully pieced together a tapestry, displaying what this hidden gem has to offer - from the warmth of its people to its rich wildlife, cultural immersion and more.

Day 1 - Embracing Habaswein's Humble Beginnings

Welcome to Habaswein! We'll kickstart this odyssey with a trip to the local market or 'soko' as it is fondly referred to by the locals. Let's dive headfirst into the bustling energy and vibrant colors of the Kenyan marketplace. Ever heard of a saying 'When in Rome, do as the Romans do'? Well, our mantra is similar but, with a Kenyan twist. We'll live, eat, and bargain like a local. Post the soko, we continue our journey to the beautifully rustic, local nomad settlement. Here's a chance to live a day in the shoes of a nomad, interacting with them, understanding their way of life and, if you’re game, even participating in a traditional goat-herding exercise. We wrap up the day by nestling under a blanket of twinkling stars amidst the open Kenyan skies for a campfire dinner.

Day 2 - Of Wildlife Safaris and Starlit Skies

Day two starts bright an early. We'll be boarding a 4x4 Jeep and heading out for an exuberant wildlife safari. This isn't your regular zoo visit. We're venturing into the realm of the untamed wilderness. Keep your eyes peeled as we scout for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other incredible wildlife. It's nature's unpredictability that makes this safari unpredictable, exciting, and memorable. Later, after a picnic lunch in the bush, you may fancy a spot of bird-watching. Did you know that Kenya is home to over 1,000 species of birds? As dusk comes around, we're back into the wild, this time for a nighttime safari – a unique opportunity to spot the nocturnal African wildlife. Considerable romantic, slightly eerie, but entirely unforgettable, this nighttime safari will get your heart racing.

Day 3 - Immersing in Rich Kenyan Culture

We save the best for last. Day three is all about immersing oneself in Kenya’s rich, vibrant, and diverse cultural tapestry. We visit a local Maasai village, where the village elders happily welcome us with their traditional music and dance – an energizing beat that you might find your feet tapping to. An unusual highlight of the day? A lesson on the ancient art of Maasai jewelry making - an experience that goes beyond a mere cultural exchange. After saying goodbye to the friendly Maasai community, relax during a tranquil sunset cruise along the Wajir River, as we bid adieu to Habaswein, carrying memories of a lifetime.
