Day 1 - Introduction to Iskandar

Rise and shine! Our journey begins at the Bahouddin Naqshbandi Complex, a sacred spiritual destination that houses a museum and a mausoleum. Feeling a bit peckish afterwards? No worries! We'll head next to the bustling Chorsu Bazaar to sample local treats and shop for unique artifacts. Did someone say photo op? We've got you covered at the majestic Palace of Amir Temur, boasting grand domes and intricate tile-work, it's a stunner! To wrap up the day, we will delight in a traditional Uzbek dinner at Silk Road Tea House, literally - a feast for the senses.

Day 2 - Historical Deep Dive

Today, we're diving deep back in time. Our first stop is Shah-i-Zinda, one of the most revered historical sites in Iskandar, boasting beautifully ornate buildings and mausoleums. From ancient times to modern arts, we will visit the Navai Theater, famed for showcasing the finest in Uzbek drama and music. Bet you’re ready for another taste of the local cuisine by now! The whimsical Tandir Restaurant awaits, serving steamy, fresh-from-the-oven bread and sizzling kebabs. After fueling up, we'll end the day with a peaceful stroll around the serene Afrosiyab Settlement.

Day 3 - Leisure and Farewell

On our final day, we keep things a little relaxed. The morning is reserved for a leisurely walk along the scenic Okhunboboev Street housing whimsical boutiques, coffee shops and flower vendors. How 'bout a local souveni...err treasure? The sprawling Nodir Devon Begi and Kukeldash Madrasas with their vast array of hand-woven carpets and ornate ceramics make it a reasonably easy task. We will then bid adieu to Iskandar with a memorable sunset viewing from the top of Al-Hakim Mosque, followed by a sumptuous farewell dinner at the picturesque Cafe Bibikhanum.
