No worries if you're not a big fan of the cold, we've got some warm indoor activities as well just to balance things out. Start the day with a visit to the Meteorite Museum. Remember those shiny rocks from outer space, often seen in sci-fi movies? Well, here you can get to know them up close! After a hearty meal, it's time to bundle up and step into the exquisite winter landscape by visiting Beishan Park. Get your cameras out. You definitely don't want to miss the enchanting view of frosted trees against this winter wonderland backdrop.

Imagine an entire lake frozen solid, glistening like a massive diamond under the winter sun. Steeped in serenity, this spot is a gem in China’s natural beauty crown. Lunchtime will be on us, as we pull out the picnic baskets with traditional Chinese takeout. What could be better than munching on a steaming baozi while overlooking a sparkling ice lake? Later, venture out to visit Wunvfeng Ski Resort, one of the most popular winter sports destinations in Jilin. Ever tried skiing or snowboarding? Why not give it a go today?

Day 3 - Enthralling Sights Closer to Nature

On the third day, we're swapping the hustle and bustle of the city for majestic views and a crash course in Chinese history. We're headed for the grand Mount Changbai, one of China’s most famous mountains and a sacred site in traditional Chinese mythology. It’s not just about the climb, the scenery along the way is a feast for the eyes too. Along its slopes, you'll stumble upon waterfalls, hotsprings, and numerous endangered plant and animal species. Hungry after the climb? We'll have a hearty mountain meal ready for you, complete with Changbai’s signature pine nut and ginseng infused foods.
