Day 1 - Introduction to Jingdezhen

We kickstart our journey in the heart of Jingdezhen, abuzz with age-old mystique. Our first stop is the Jingdezhen Ceramics Museum. Here's where we'll get lost in the fascinating world of pottery, learning about Jingdezhen's legacy on world ceramics history. The live craft demonstrations? Simply mesmerizing! We then head to the Old Street. Why's this street so special? It gives you a glimpse into the local life and the quintessential blue and white porcelain pieces for which the region takes pride. Don't forget to stop by the cute shops for unique souvenirs. Are you ready for your own version of ghost pottery scene? Next, we'll visit a local pottery studio, getting our hands muddy while shaping our pottery masterpieces.

Day 2 - Nature and further exploration

On the day 2, we become one with nature. We venture towards the Mount Lushan, enveloped in clouds and opulence of greenery. Roaring waterfalls, serene brooks, and ancient temples - it's a scene lifted straight out of a Chinese watercolor painting. The next destination is the Porcelain Village. It offers an up-close look at the locals' commitment to living their traditions. Here, every corner brims with pottery pits and porcelain workshops, embossed with centuries-old techniques. Later, we explore Jiangnan Tea Culture Park, where you can witness tea cultivation, and maybe even participate in a traditional tea ceremony! How about winding the day down with a cup of locally grown tea?

Day 3 - Immersion in local culture

Our last day is devoted to immersing ourselves in local culture. We begin at the Yaoli Ancient Town- a treasure trove that lets us step back in time. This well-preserved old town hosts labyrinthine cobblestone streets, ancient bridges, cascading waterfalls, and Qing dynasty architecture. Lunch will be in a local restaurant, trying out Jingdezhen's signature dishes. Have you ever tasted Bamboo tube rice or fried river shrimps? Our journey concludes with the Sanshan Street night market. Packed with food stalls and craft vendors, this bustling market is a fabulous place to sample local eats and pick up last-minute souvenirs. And with that, our enchanting 3-day escapade in Jingdezhen comes to an end!
