Introduction

Experience the heart and soul of Nepal with our well-considered 3-day itinerary. We'll guide you through Charming streets, breathtaking monuments, vibrant markets and temples of Kathmandu. Dive deep into Nepalese culture and history. You will leave with a greater understanding of this Himalayan city's spirit and its people's resilient hearts.

Day 1 - Cultural Kaleidoscope

From afar, Kathmandu Durbar Square announces itself with a flurry of colours, sounds, and smells. Brace yourself for a journey back in time as we explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. Peel back layers of history through its unique architecture, rich with Hindu and Buddhist influences. Won't it be amazing to walk the same ground as the ancient Kings of Kathmandu? Later, get your haggling game on at Asan Market, one of Kathmandu's oldest traditional markets. Spices, textiles, jewellery, or maybe a singing bowl to take home? From the bustle, we'll then escape to the tranquillity of Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known as Monkey Temple. Enjoy a panoramic view of Kathmandu city from atop the hill. Doesn't the city resemble a shimmering jewel box at sunset?

Day 2 - Weaving through Wonders

We start today in Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple that dates back to 400 B.C. Witness the riveting scenes of devotion, from morning prayers to traditional cremation rituals. Ready for an adventure within a city? Next, we'll lose ourselves in the narrow alleyways of Thamel. This backpackers' paradise is a feast for the senses with its bohemian cafes, travel shops, and local vendors peddling an assortment of wares. Feels a bit like Aladdin's cave of treasures, right? As dusk approaches, we'll head to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. Join the local devotees and walk around the stupa, spinning prayer wheels. Can you feel the serenity seeping into your soul?

Day 3 - Hidden Gems of Kathmandu

On the final day, we'll visit the city's hidden gems. Start with a sojourn to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a living museum packed with ancient art, architecture, and history. Ever wondered how it would feel to step into a painting? Bhaktapur might just give you a taste of that. Later we explore Patan Durbar Square, home to the Krishna Mandir—an architectural marvel of the 17th century. It's incredible, isn't it? How these edifices have withstood centuries and yet retain their grandeur? Finally, recharge at The Garden of Dreams, a serene enclave in the heart of Kathmandu. Sublime pavilions, delightful fountains, and meandering pathways—perfect setting for a joyful conclusion to our Kathmandu journey.
