Day 1 - Embracing the Ancient Atmosphere

We'll kick start our journey in the quaint and invigorating town of Linhai. The town has an aura that whispers stories of the old times. Our first stop will be Taizhou City Wall, a majestic structure stretching around 6km that offers a panoramic view of Linhai. After lunch at a local eatery trying out Jiaozi (Dumplings) and Wontons, we'll head off to Linjiang River and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the water. As night descends, the banks of the river are beautifully lit, making it an ideal spot for some night time photography. Post-dinner, you can indulge in some local shopping in the vibrant bazaar adjacent to the river.

Day 2 - Imbibing the Majestic Scenery

On our second day, we rise early to be one with nature. Our destination: Ziyang Street - a breath-taking ancient tea trading street that's almost 1000 years old! Imagine sipping a steaming cup of local tea, surrounded by the mesmerizing view of the ancient houses, isn't that a scene straight out of a painting? Our next visit is the must-see East Lake. We'll enjoy a traditional bamboo rafting experience on this serene lake and don't skip capturing these moments in your hearts (and cameras). We'll round up the day with local specialties for dinner at a cozy, family-run restaurant.

Day 3 - Savouring the Cultural Essence

Our final day in Linhai! We're going full culture today, with the trip to Great Wall of Southern China followed by a visit to the Jiangnan Great Wall Museum. The Great Wall needs little introduction – this variant in southern China, away from the tourist crowds, resounds with history and presents spectacular views. The museum visit wraps up our China story with an enriching overview of the local history and culture. Wrap it up with a delectable Chinese dinner as we say farewell to Linhai.
