Day 1 - Exploring the City of Heroes

We'll start our journey with a tour through the heart of Murmansk, often referred to as the 'City of Heroes'. This title from its World War II history is complimented by its gutsy, imposing Soviet-era buildings. We'll visit the impressive Alyosha Monument, a gigantic statue dedicated to Soviet soldiers who defended the Arctic during the war. In the afternoon, we'll explore the Northern Fleet Naval Museum, giving you a glimpse into Russia's naval might. In the evening, if weather permits, we'll embark on our first hunt for the elusive Northern Lights, a bucket-list experience that will leave you completely mesmerized.

Day 2 - Submarines and An Ethereal Lake

Our day kicks off with a visit to the Lenin Icebreaker, the world's first nuclear-powered icebreaker turned museum. You'll get to marvel at the giant propellers, nuclear reactor and several chambers inside this megastructure! Post lunch, prepare to be awed by the surreal beauty of the Lake Semenovskoye, frozen in winters with natural monuments of ice and in summers, a haven for bird watchers. Finish the night off with another Northern Lights quest, because you can never get enough of these ethereal lights, can you?

Day 3 - Arctic Animals and Russian Cuisines

On our final day, we'll get up-close with adorable Huskies at the Arctic Husky Park, and if conditions allow, enjoy an invigorating sled ride through the snowy landscapes. After lunch, we'll round off our trip by delving into Russian cuisine at the local Russian Banya. We'll explore the fascinating sauna culture, followed by indulging in a traditional meal. A wonderful end to our Arctic adventure, wouldn't you agree?
