Day 1 - Authentic Nakano: Uncovering Tokyo's Best-Kept Secret

Ladies and Gentlemen, fasten your seat belts! Our adventure begins with a visit to the Nakano Broadway, a shopping complex famous for its pop culture goodies. Be it anime, manga, or collectable toys, it’s like stepping into a geek’s paradise. After flexing your shopping muscles, let's drown in the simmering, piping hot bowls of ramen at Nakano Ramen Street. Here, you get your first real taste of Japan, quite literally! Don’t be surprised if you see a queue at every shop, that's the lure of Nakano's hidden finds. Our jaunt continues to the Nakano Central Park, where you can unwind and soak in the breathtaking views of the city's skyline. For dinner, fill your belly with Nakano’s famous izakaya. These Japanese gastropubs are great spots for after-hour drinks and tasty morsels. By the end of the day, you've probably realized what makes Nakano so much more than just a residential ward. It's a magnificent blend of Tokyo's culture, cuisine, and comic obsession.

Day 2 - Immersion in History and Craft

Ready for a taste of tradition on day two? We'll begin at Nakano's Hikawa Shrine. This centuries-old shrine offers serenity, tranquility and a generous dose of cultural authenticity. Surely there's no better start of the day than interacting with history, right? Next, let's head to some of Nakano's quaint antique shops. Hunting for timeless treasures, are we? By the afternoon, we'll take a culinary journey, hopping into a sushi-making class. Roll up your sleeves because it's time to learn from the masters themselves. Knocking up your sushi, how wonderful does THAT sound? And don't worry if you're not a seafood fan, the chefs are always ready to accommodate your preferences. To digest that sushi, a soothing walk in the Momijiyama Park will lead us to a beautiful pond and artistically trimmed plants. Doesn’t that sound delightful?

Day 3 - A Stroll Through Nakano's Nature and Nightlife

Rise and shine for day three as we trek to Mount Takao, a serene mountain located just outside of Nakano. It's the perfect chance to reconnect with nature and enjoy a breath of fresh air – or shall we say, a breath of forest? The climb to the top is an adventure in itself, but wait till you see the majestic views of Tokyo city from the summit! By evening, we'll be back to Nakano, delving into its vibrant night scene. Fancy a game night? Nakano's retro game bars will amaze you. Wrap up the night with a toast at a local bar or a yakitori (grilled skewers) stall. Doesn’t it sound like the perfect ending note to our Nakano adventure?
