Day 1 - Uncovering Port Moresby
Port Moresby Nature Park is our launching pad into the vibrant flora and fauna of the region. Brimming with over 500 animals native to Papua New Guinea, it can't get more exciting than breakfast with the Birds of Paradise, right? You'll spend the morning there before visiting the National Museum & Art Gallery. The museum is an insight into the astounding diversity of Papua New Guinea. History buffs! Are you ready to transport yourself back in time? In the afternoon, we take a leisurely stroll through the PNG Parliament House. Ever imagined seeing a mix of traditional and modern architecture in one place? This is your chance. Don't forget to roll your cameras at the astounding murals representing the country's provinces!
Day 2 - The Beauty of the Bay
Have you ever dreamt of a day in a tropical paradise? Well, pinch yourself because today we'll venture into the beautiful Loloata Island. A ferry ride from Port Moresby cruise terminal will take you there. But let me tell you, it's not just about the destination, but also the journey. Dolphins showing off their acrobatic skills are a common sight here. On the island, you can snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, take a coastal walk or just lounge on its pristine beaches. In the afternoon, we'll go fish spotting at the vibrant Idler's Bay. Finish your day with a breathtaking sunset from the bay. A perfect tropical day, wouldn't you agree?
Day 3 - A Cultural Ride
Our journey into Papua New Guinea's vibrant culture starts at Adventure Park PNG. Have you ever seen a 3.5-meter crocodile? Or an orchid garden that boasts 3000 species? I know that sounds surreal, but that's Adventure Park PNG for you. Lunch will be a traditional cooking demonstration at Bomana War Cemetery, the largest war cemetery in the Pacific. For the latter part of the afternoon, we visit the colorful Konebada Resort. Here we'll witness the mesmerizing traditional dances of Papua New Guinea. Can you hear the rhythmic beats of the Kundu drums?
