Be ready to immerse yourself in the grandeur of ancient temples, the calm of traditional gardens, the buzz of local markets and the beauty of nature that the city has to offer. All in just three terrific days!

Day 1 - Touchdown Sendai: City Familiarization and Cuisine Discovery

Good morning, traveller! Are you excited to dive into the wonders of Sendai? First things first, we'll check in at our hotel and freshen up. Then, our journey begins in the heart of the city at Sendai, Aoba-dori Avenue, the main street brimming with culture, food and shops! Take a stroll, take some snaps and don't miss tasting local delicacies at Kyobashi Morning Market. In the afternoon, let's visit Zuihoden, a stunning mausoleum full of colourful art, ancient architecture and lush greenery. Sounds fabulous, right? As the sun starts to set, we'll treat our taste buds with Sendai's famed gyutan (beef tongue) at a local dining spot. Full day, full belly, full heart!

Day 2 – In the Lap of Nature and History

Rise and shine! Are you ready for an action-packed day? We'll head to Matsushima Bay, famed for its beautiful seascapes. We'll boat around the tiny islands, each with its unique shape and story. Once back on land, don't forget to visit the mesmerizing Zuiganji Temple, surrounded by centuries-old pine trees. How about a scenic spot for lunch? The Godaido Viewpoint it is! We'll dine with the bay as our backdrop. In the afternoon, we'll return to Sendai and explore the grand Sendai Castle ruins. Did we mention the breath-taking city views from there? As night falls, enjoy strolling through the enchanting Jozenji Street, lined with scenic trees and beautiful illuminations. An incredible end to a magical day!

Day 3 – Embracing Education and Entertainment

Hello, rising sun! Grab a coffee; we're heading off to the Sendai Science Museum. With its interactive exhibits and grand planetarium, it’s fun meets education! Post lunch, we're going to Sendai Umino-Mori Aquarium. From performing sea lions to ethereal jellyfish, it’s an underwater wonderland! Feeling adventurous? Visit the neighbouring Tomonoura Boating Area for some water sports. As the evening approaches, let's head to Sendai Mediatheque. This architectural marvel is not just a library but also a space for art exhibitions. Doesn’t that sound amazing?
