Day 1 - Soothing Start in the Spiritual Heartland
We'll kick off our journey at Toyokawa Inari, a famous shrine known for its 'tunnel of foxes', and dedicated to the god of harvest. Don't be surprised if you feel the sacred aura around you. After enjoying the tranquility of the shrine, we'll head to Toyokawa City Museum of Art and History. Could you be Picasso's next incarnation, or perhaps you've a knack for history? Whichever it is, this museum is sure to inspire. Lastly, satisfy your taste buds with Toyokawa's very own eel cuisine. Who knew eel could taste so good, right?
Day 2 – Natural Wonders and Neighbouring Novelties
Beginning our day at the House of Wisteria in Maruyama Park, as its beauty in full bloom will take your breath away. Want a picture? Well yes, it's selfie time! We will then proceed to Sanmyo-ji Temple, a treasure trove of Japanese history. Just like stepping into a time machine, isn't it? Don't forget to take a drive along the iconic Sanmyo-ji Road, where scenic landscapes await. To wrap up the day, let's catch the illumination spectacle at The Gokurakubashi Bridge. Ever wondered what a bridge to paradise looks like? Well, here's your answer.
Day 3 – Nosh, Nature and Neighbourly Goodbye
Start the final day of our journey with a visit to Toyokawa's famous Sea Bream Market. Seafood lovers, isn't this like being a kid in a candy store? From here, we'll head over to the Japanese Garden nestled right in the heart of Maruyama Park. Feel the harmony of traditional architecture with serene greenery. To finish off, we'll spend our evening watching the sun go down at Miyajima Beach. Could there BE a better way to say 'Sayonara Toyokawa' than this?
