Three Unforgettable Days in Ube, Japan

Days Description
1 Day 1 - Welcoming Ube
2 Day 2 - Nature's Canvas
3 Day 3 - Farewell Friend

Introduction

Delve into the serene, picturesque landscape of Ube, Japan. This three-day journey across this coastal city will invigorate your senses, as we explore stunning gardens, zen-like temples, and vibrant local eateries. There is a touch of adventure, with a dash of tranquillity; the perfect 72-hour blend!

Day 1 - Welcoming Ube

After touching down in Ube, why not start our adventure with a visit to Ube City Art Museum? Allow yourself to be embraced by dynamic creativeness and an eclectic mix of artistic expressions from local and national artists. Once we've fed our creative souls, let's move onto something to nourish our tummies. Ever tried Yakitori? It's a delicious skewered chicken dish, and trust me, it's a treat you wouldn't want to miss. As the evening draws in, we’ll make our ways to Tokiwa Park. Picture this: a beautiful crimson sunset reflected off the serene lake surrounded by nature's lush greenery. Sounds like a perfect way to draw the day to a close, doesn't it?

Day 2 - Nature's Canvas

Waking up in Ube feels like stepping into a painting, doesn't it? Speaking of paintings, today's first stop is The Okanoyama Museum of Art. Nestled among a forest of bamboo trees, the museum itself is a work of art! Post this, do you fancy a little hiking? Mt. Ryuo is calling. Grab your hiking boots and let's make our way up this gentle giant. Don't worry about the climb; stick with me, and you'll be rewarded with a panorama of the city that's just breathtaking. As the adventure stirs up an appetite, let’s indulge in a bowl of Ramen at a local eatery. In the evening, we'll make our way to Ryushi Memorial Park. Breathe in deeply; that's the smell of fresh flowers and tranquillity.

Day 3 - Farewell Friend

Our last day in Ube and it feels like we just got here, doesn’t it? Well, let’s start our day with a visit to Kitamomi Red Flower Park. This park is famous for its sea of red flowers. By ‘sea’, I mean over a million red flowers spread out in front of you. We'll close our journey with a lovely, authentic Japanese dinner at Imano. They serve the freshest fish you'll ever taste. Surely, this would make a beautiful final chapter of our Ube story.
