Introduction
Prepare yourself for a journey steeped in history, folklore, and the supernatural as we explore the fabled city of Salem, Massachusetts. Famous for its sordid past of witch trials and spectral sightings, Salem is a goldmine for ghost hunter and history lover alike.
Day 1 - Introductory Encounters
Our supernatural sojourn in Salem kickstarts at The Salem Witch Museum where you'll get a healthy dose of the city's infamous history and its notorious 17th-century witch trials. Following this, make way to The House of Seven Gables, which inspired Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel by the same name. Could there be a better start to our ghostly escapade? Now, let's head to Pickering Wharf for lunch. Once done, it's time for a spooky stroll around the haunted buildings of the Salem Maritime National Historic Site.
Day 2 - Ghosts, Graves, and Pies Galore
On day 2, we'll embark on the often eerie, always engaging Salem Ghost Tours. Here, you'll find chilling narratives sewn into every corner. Later, immerse in the tranquility (or not?) of the Old Burying Point Cemetery, the second oldest in the nation. Phantoms aside, make sure you don't miss out on the delicious pies, accompanied by the best apple cider at the A&J King Artisan Bakers.
Day 3 - Wandering Witches and Spooky Souvenirs
On our final day, we'll first pay a visit to the Salem Witch Trials Memorial. Then, take an immersive walking tour with Salem Historical Tours to further unravel Salem's haunted past. Lastly, stopover at Wicked Good Books or the Salem Witch Store & Coffee for some spooky souvenirs to remember the trip.
